Top 10 Foods To Avoid
1. Trans-fatty acids and hydrogenated oils. These toxic fats are in most processed foods and
when consumed cause your cells to become too stiff. Nutrients can not effectively enter the cell and
waste can not be removed from the cell. Trans-fat is closely linked to heart disease and cancer.
2. Processed carbohydrates. These include white sugars, white breads, white rice, white pastas,
crackers, most baked goods, etc. All of the minerals and vitamins are stripped out of the original
whole food leaving mostly the sugar or starch. This is one of the leading causes of obesity, diabetes,
cancer and heart disease. Throw away all white flour and sugar products! You will be glad you did.
3. Aspartame and other artificial sweeteners. These are known as excitotoxins because when
ingested they cause your brain cells to excite and fire so rapidly that they die. Do not ignore these,
once you kill brain cells you can not make more. There are over 50 names that can appear on labels,
so do your homework.
4. MSG. Another taste enhancer that causes excitotoxicity and cell death. Check labels and treat it
as if you are eating poison, because that is exactly what it is. Most "flavored" snack products are
loaded with MSG. It is crucial to keep your children away from these brain poisons.
5. Pesticide and heavy metal containing food. Our bodies are poor at detoxifying these things.
Avoid farm raised fish which contain high amounts of mercury, tend away from non-organic foods
which contain pesticides full of heavy metals, and avoid aluminum cookware and aluminum
containing antiperspirants. Also, wipe off the wine bottle after removing the lead containing label that
covers the cork. These can all cause numerous neurological problems.
6. Fluoride containing water and toothpaste. Fluoride has been shown to stimulate cancer,
damage our cell’s DNA, damage our brain and cause our bones to lose density and become
susceptible to fractures. Drink fluoride-free water or get a good reverse osmosis filter and distillation
system and find non-fluoride toothpaste.
7. Coffee.- Caffeine containing drinks stimulate your adrenal glands much like stress from work.
You are forced to pump out adrenaline even though you might not need it. In the end, your adrenal
glands will fatigue and you will run into serious energy and weight problems. Coffee is also linked to
high homocysteine levels and hardened arteries which both contribute to cardiovascular disease. Try
green tea instead. Green tea is higher in antioxidants and you will lose weight.
8. Artificial colors – Chemical dyes are being put into foods to appeal to your “visual” taste buds.
They do nothing to promote health and can cause allergic reactions as well as cellular destruction.
9. High fructose corn syrup. This super sweetener causes high triglycerides, high blood
pressure, high cholesterol, insulin resistance which can lead to diabetes, obesity, and accelerated
aging. This is by far the worst sugar product and it is in nearly everything!
10. Food cooked over an open flame. This high temperature denatures the meats fats and
proteins. Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, the compounds found on charred food, have been proven
to promote cancer in animals. Baked or broiled is a better choice for everyday cooking.
